How the insurance check works
After your request we pass your details – only with your consent – to our partner's licensed experts. They review your existing cover and prepare a quote for you.
You get a clear comparison: what do you pay today, what would you pay in future, and what changes in your cover? Whether you switch is entirely up to you.
If a new contract is concluded, you can see its status in your customer portal. For insurance we deliberately offer no bonus and no cashback – the law prohibits such benefits (§ 48b VAG). You get the right cover at a fair premium.
Questions about the insurance check
Which insurance can I have checked?
For example car insurance, private health insurance, personal liability, home contents, legal expenses, buildings, occupational disability and dental insurance. If you have no health insurance, choose “Without health insurance”. Enter other insurance under “Other insurance”.
Do I have to upload my policy?
No, that's optional. With your policy, though, our partner's experts can compare your current cover more precisely and make you a suitable offer faster.
Can I switch my insurance at any time?
Many policies run for one year and renew automatically; they are usually cancelled with three months' notice before expiry. For car insurance, 30 November is an important deadline. Premium increases often come with a special right of cancellation. Our partner's experts check this for you.
